About My Approach
Transformational leadership, at any level, requires self-awareness, ability to balance relationships with tactical/strategic assignments and the knack to effect positive change. I believe that with insight comes transformation. Leadership coaching is about creating a safe space for you to explore limiting beliefs/thoughts and behavioral patterns that both serve and limit you. Often these patterns cross both personal and professional areas of our lives. As your Coach, I will listen to you, ask empowering questions, offer feedback and new perspectives, and challenge you to reconsider old ways of thinking, feeling and acting. Together, we will assess your strengths and the adaptive ways you have coped with challenges, as well as the patterns of behavior that are no longer serving you well to create new pathways for your leadership development.
About Me
Before joining PLS in 2008, I spent my early career working for a municipal bond marketing firm headquartered in Syracuse for 16 years. There, I held a variety of professional certifications and affiliations and grew with the company. Ultimately I became the Director of Operations. As a result, I have years of experience with corporate culture/development, sustainability and growth challenges, interpersonal dynamics/communication issues and transitioning from an individual contributor to manager to leader. My professional experience, combined with my intuitive nature, passion for helping others and quest for continued learning and development, serve as my strong coaching foundation.
I learn from my children every day about the power of play and the notion that we can be anything we want. My dogs model the significance of unconditional love. I am fortunate to work with people who “practice what they preach.” The beach is my favorite place to be!
